When should you keep your child at home?
A fever of 100.4 or greater in last 24 hours
vomiting in last 24 hours
diarrhea in last 24 hours
body rash with itching or fever
eye infection(redness, itching and/or crusty drainage)
hospital stay or ER visit
When can your child come back to school?
When fever free for 24 hours, without fever reducing medications. (Tylenol or Motrin)
No vomiting or diarrhea in last 24 hours and has had 2 solid meals
eye has been evaluated by healthcare provider
released by healthcare provider to return to school
